In and Around Speyside

Moray is beautiful part of Scotland and the Speyside Cooperage Visitor Attraction is in the heart of the Speyside malt whisky trail and there are many famous distilleries nearby which have visitor centres so that you can enjoy a tour and a dram.

Just down the road from the cooperage is the River Spey, famous throughout the world for salmon fishing.

If you enjoy visiting historical ruins Balvenie Castle is a short drive away in the quaint little town of Dufftown and Ballindalloch Castle is a lovely drive following the River Spey. World famous Walkers Shortbread is also a short drive along the road towards Aberlour.

The Speyside Way is on the doorstep too and ideal for enjoying a walk or cycling.
